Here at Debbie Lowdon Driver Training we understand how nervous you can be, even just to pick the phone up and book your first lesson. That's why all of our instructors are patient friendly and professional. We all have excellent pass rates as we all teach to the same very high standard. We specialize teaching  people to drive not sitting at the side of the road learning theory like other schools do saving their fuel. Although we can help with the theory test and loan you books and DVD's if required.

Many people believe you have to be 17 to learn to drive, however our cars are covered for 16yr olds as long as its off road. So you could learn the basics before getting your provisional licence. However if you want to wait until your 17 you need a provisional licence and will have to pass a simple eye test, which your instructor will carry out on your first lesson.

You can pick up an application form from the post office or you can E mail me and I can send you one.

Another misconception is that you need to pass your theory test  before having lessons that's not so. Its easier to pass the theory test whilst having lessons because you can learn a lot of it on the road.

We also teach people from all walks of life, male and female and most ages. You don't have to be young to learn to drive.

We also welcome test failures, test re-takes and those of you who may have had lessons before and want to get back in to it.
